Tabitha is a committed occupational therapist who works closely with older adults, their families, and the Adaptability Therapy team.
Passionate and enthusiastic about her role, Tabitha consistently demonstrates the ability to think on her feet and tailor her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. She is highly adaptable, ensuring both clients and their caregivers are supported in achieving the best possible outcomes.
With a focus on older adults in the community, Tabitha provides a range of home-based therapy programs aimed at restoring independence and enhancing quality of life.
Tabitha brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding all things equipment prescription, minor and major home modifications, stroke rehabilitation, functional retraining, cognitive therapy and musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis under the home care package schemes, and post-acute care service delivery in the community.
Tabitha entered the field of occupational therapy to make a lasting impact on her clients’ lives. She is committed to helping individuals achieve their personal goals through tailored therapy programs. By focusing on each client’s unique needs, she strives to restore their independence and enhance their quality of life.
Tabitha is a graduate of the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) and Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science.
When she’s not busy helping clients regain their independence, Tabitha can be found soaking up the sun at the beach with friends and family. She enjoys an active lifestyle that keeps her energised and connected to those she loves. Whether it’s beach days or outdoor adventures, Tabitha embraces every moment spent in good company!
