Caitlin Mackenzie

Speech and Language Pathologist

Caitlin supports people across the lifespan. She has experience working with children with communication delays, adults with acquired communication difficulties, feeding and swallowing difficulties across the lifespan and a range of disabilities. Caitlin has a particular passion for supporting and empowering Autistic clients.

Passion for neurodiversity affirming practice and working with Autistic clients of all ages. Caitlin has a particular interest in supporting communication as a whole, so that a person is able to communicate what they want, on their own terms. This includes Alternative and Augmentative forms of Communication.

Caitlin has experience working with clients with a variety of communication supports, including devices and communication applications such as Proloquo2go, LAMP Words for Life, TD Snap and TouchChat.

In her spare time, Caitlin loves travelling, hiking, and crocheting.

Caitlin graduated with First Class Honours from The University of Queensland in 2021. She has since completed progressional learning in Neurodiversity Affirming Practice, Responsive Feeding Therapy, and Natural Language Acquisition Therapy.

Based on the Southside of Brisbane and accepts referrals in and around this area.
