Paediatric Physiotherapist

Maria graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and brings her specialist skills gained over her six years of work experience. Having worked with children and adults across public and private organisations, Maria is passionate about working in the disability sector and advocating for her clients.

Maria loves working with children under 5 years of age and has a special interest in Cerebral Palsy, Neuromuscular and genetic syndromes, and assistive technology prescription.

Maria realised at a young age that she wanted to work with children. Her journey of working as a primary and high school tutor, and a mentor for disadvantaged school students through Monash University, led her to a career in Paediatric Physiotherapy.

Maria enjoys working with young children and families to achieve their goals and build parent capacity. Maria’s experience working as a Key Worker allows her to use a holistic approach to address families’ goals. Maria considers herself a “life-long learner” and is currently completing her Masters in Paediatric Physiotherapy at Monash University.

Maria can support clients through a variety of funding streams:

  • NDIS
  • Medicare
  • Private funding & fee-for-service

Apart from recreational pursuits such as Bollywood dance, venturing out for hikes and strength training at the gym, Maria loves singing and is an active member of her church choir.

Maria supports clients in and around Brisbane South. She offers her therapeutic support in English and Malayalam.
