Adaptability Therapy provides a range of services for adults on the Gold Coast, including mobile Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Our highly experienced therapists come to you, and have a passion for supporting people to live their best life. Whether it’s gaining independence, learning new life skills, or improving your safety and security at home – we can support you.
Our Physio’s and Occupational Therapists work closely together to ensure optimal outcomes for their clients.
We are a registered NDIS provider, meaning we meet the high standards the NDIS expects of providers. We can see people who are NDIA Managed, as well as those who are self and plan-managed.
Babies and children have unique anatomical, physiological and psychological needs compared to adults. At Adaptability Therapy, our Paediatric Physiotherapists have extensive training and experience with children and take into consideration these different requirements in order to treat children effectively.
We take a goal-oriented approach, working on the skills and functioning that are important to the children and families we see. We use best-practice assessments and interventions to guide and design quality programmes to meet your child’s goals. Physiotherapy input may include motor learning through play, equipment or adaptations, strengthening and conditioning, movement training, intensive hands-on therapy as well as education and parent training.

At Adaptability Therapy, our dynamic Physio’s understand that each individual they see is unique and will develop a tailored treatment or intervention plan suited to you. Physiotherapists can make meaningful improvement in the lives of their clients, by improving their physical functioning, health and wellbeing and building their capacity. Our team is experienced in working with people who have a broad range of conditions, including physical, neurological, intellectual or psychosocial disabilities, following surgery or an acute illness or those experiencing poor movement, balance or motion. Often our physios will treat any combination of these together using a holistic approach. Physios are also able to assist people at risk of or experiencing falls, with advice around falls prevention and safety.
At present, we do not offer allied health services for babies, children or adolescents on the Gold Coast.
We’re fully NDIS registered and approved, so all you need to focus on is therapy.
